·        Information you provide: any details, photos or videos you choose to send when asking for support, reporting an order issue, or requesting a return or exchange.

Please provide accurate information so that we can process and deliver your order correctly.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information only for legitimate business purposes connected with our store, including to:

·        Process and deliver orders: confirm orders, arrange shipment, provide tracking updates and complete delivery.

We will seek appropriate consent before using your information for a materially different purpose where consent is required.

3. Payment information

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay online, your payment credentials are entered on or handled through Razorpay's systems. Niwaara does not store complete card numbers, card security codes, banking passwords or UPI PINs.

We may receive limited transaction information such as the payment status, amount, date, payment method category and a transaction reference so that we can confirm your order, issue a refund or resolve a payment issue. Razorpay processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Cookies and basic analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep essential features working, remember basic preferences, understand website traffic and improve the shopping experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device.

You can usually block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some essential website features, such as the cart or checkout, may not work properly if essential cookies are disabled. If we later introduce advertising or other non-essential cookies that require consent, we will provide the relevant choice where required.

5. When we share information

We share personal information only when needed to operate our store, fulfil an order, protect our rights or comply with law. Recipients may include:

·        Shipping and fulfilment partners: Shiprocket and the courier assigned to your order may receive your name, phone number, address and order details so they can collect, route, deliver and track the shipment.

·        Payment provider: Razorpay receives the information needed to process online payments, verify transactions and support refunds.

·        Website and support providers: service providers that host, maintain, secure or analyse our website may process limited information only as needed to provide their service.

·        Authorities or advisers: we may disclose information if required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or to prevent fraud, harm or misuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We expect service providers to use it only for the relevant service and to apply appropriate safeguards.

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. We also limit access to people and service providers who need the information for their work.

No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please protect your devices and account information, and contact us promptly if you believe your information or an order has been misused.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil orders, provide support, manage returns or refunds, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record, an unresolved complaint or dispute, and legal requirements.

Subject to applicable Indian law and reasonable verification of your request, you may contact us to:

·        Access: ask what personal information we hold about you.

·        Correct: update inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

·        Delete: request deletion of information that is no longer needed, subject to records we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

·        Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for a use based on consent. This will not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may limit services that require that information.
